Requirements

Undergraduate

The minimum entry requirement to apply as an undergraduate student is 10+2 or equivalent degree. PCL and diploma are also accepted. German language proficiency of B1 level is required for one to study for free whereas if you do not want to study in german language and prefer english then you will need to pay the fee and score at least 6.5 in IELTS.

 

Graduate

If you have completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline that checks with 4 years bachelors degree then you can easily apply to be a graduate student. For Graduate programme you can study in english for free. You will need an IELTS score of 6.5

Visa Process

As your application will be forwarded to the competent immigration authorities in Germany, the processing of your application will take four to eight weeks. You are therefore advised to apply well in advance of the proposed beginning of your studies. The following documents will be required to apply for a students visa in Germany .

  1. valid passport (issued within the last 10 years and with at least 12 months validity left after the scheduled return)
  2. Application form & declarations duly signed
  3. copy of your passport’s data page
  4. 3 passport pictures according to biometric specifications
  5. cover letter
  6. letter of admission from German university (electronic version)
  7. proof of payment of study fees, if applicable
  8. proof of language proficiency in English and/or German (ONLY if course is taught in German)
  9. proof of other academic qualifications
  10. proof of financial means to cover the costs for the time of your studies
